Where do these people find me??

I almost killed a man yesterday....... This guy pulls up at our neighbor's house and starts talking to Sue about something-or-other. I was outside underneath a pine tree cutting some branches off the ground (and I do mean underneath the tree, I think I was invisible). So while I was under there, he comes over to my house and starts ringing the doorbell on the wrong door and finally sees me rustling around in the pine tree, and goes "Sir! Sir!!"  And I am so annoyed, I do NOT want to be bothered by some stupid guy selling something I don't want.  So he sees me and comes over to me, steps OFF THE DECK INTO MY FLOWER BED....... how freaking RUDE is that???  You do not come over to somebody's house and go tromping through their flower bed!!! Especially MINE because I will KILL YOU.  It is NOT a sidewalk. He barely misses stepping on a plant and comes across the yard and steps through the OTHER flower bed and this time steps right ON TOP of my poor little Siberian iris which I grew from *seed* and have been trying to get to come up for two years now. I am so mad. He saw me pointing and blubbering and eyes bugging out of my head and turns around and looks at where he just stepped. He's like "Oh did you just have that put down?" (referring to the MULCH!) and I'm like the PLANT! YOU JUST STEPPED ON MY PLANT! I don't give a rat's ass about the mulch. And then he launches into this speech about wanting to seal our driveway and blah blah blah. I'm like, I don't want you anywhere NEAR my yard. Dave had come out at this point and sees the poor smashed plant and was getting all mad. This guy would not shut up. He's like, "I'm doing your neighbor's driveway and I'll have extra materials......"  I'm standing there with a tree saw in my hand and was seriously thinking of brandishing it at him. Angry garden lady with a 12" pole saw whose iris just got squashed by some jerk..... OOOOOOOOOhhh.

Yeah, those con artists that go around trying to sell driveway sealant jobs aren't to well known for their charming manners--LOL! They just wanna take the money and run--you shoulda nabbed 'em with your pole and done all the poor old people who fall for their scams a huge favor!
