Hello! Hope you're having a good weekend. Today after a yummy lunch at Chili's I got some much-needed new kicks (in the silver/orange) for my athletic ventures. I think the last pair I bought was in 2002, so I had almost forgotten what it was like to walk on spongy soles! I also bought a pair of dressy shoes from Mudd which for some reason I cannot find a picture of anywhere on the internet. Love 'em! They are too cha-cha for words! Literally... that's the name of them. Cha-Cha.
Here're a few layouts I have done in the past few weeks:
On this one ignore the fact that I am missing a letter.... that set of letters only has 1 H and I don't know where to get more.... (for the MAMBI Urban Bling gold--anybody have an H to spare??)
Dinner tonight was Chicken Erika.... always better the next day and not straight out of the oven. It takes so long to cool off, that you try to eat it when it's too hot and burn your tongue and can't taste the loveliness of it. Luckily I can still smell the jasmine rice in the air!
My outdoor project has been to rake out the thatch from our lawn in certain places. It's very labor intensive and I can only do a small bit each day.... it's just exhausting, really intense small muscle movements with the rake to coax all the dried stuff out from the bottom. I'm working on our problem areas so we can put down lime, and seed for the fall. Dave has been helping me, but we both hate it so much.
So speaking of my "athletic ventures", my YMCA gym experience has been going well. I've added weight lifting to my weekly routine which I love..... that has always been my favorite thing to do. I love the burn. I almost always have some muscle group feeling sore these days. The scale has not budged much, after all this time (kind of a bummer)...... but my pants are getting much looser. In fact I've been using a belt to hold my pants up that I haven't been able to use in several years now. I think I look tighter/smaller in the mirror, but it's probably one of those things that only I would notice. Hopefully by the time the weather gets cooler and it's time to wear my "winter pants" to work, they will be feeling better than they were last year! Dave is also doing an awesome job, going first thing in the morning, and then more often than not again with me in the afternoon when I get home from work.
I don't have a gold "h" to give you, but I know they sell those at AC Moore and stickers are 40% off right now too. Hope that helps. I do have a silver and a black "h", but that won't help.

love the layouts! i wish i had a "h" to send you ... always stinks when you're missing a letter! speaking of shoe shopping ... i really need a pair of nice, dressy shoes for my cousins wedding in 2 weeks. i'm so NOT a shoe person. i get so overwhelmed when i look in the shoe dept, that i end up just walking away. i guess that's not going to get me anywhere! lol!
good job on the working out thing! i need to start working out some. but i have some sort of attention deficit disorder. i go on the excersise contraption that we have here ... and 2 minutes into i'm bored and my mind starts to wander! i guess that won't get me anywhere either! lol!
