I totally can relate to the neighbor not cutting their grass. Ours never cuts. He's cut it once this summer. The only reason being is you could tell where the property line was drawn. Our side nice, green and cut and their side burnt, tall and full of weeds.

I hate winter. You'd think I'd be used to it after growing up in Upstate NY where it's twice as bad.

your scarf is looking good! i tried knitting a few years ago ... but i just couldn't get the hang of it!
can't believe that it's fall already. we did have a slight breeze going today ... i was almost tempted to dig out my long jeans! lol! but we're still in the high 80's and low 90's. looking forward to the cooler weather!

I just love reading your blog. It reminds me a little bit of home. Pimento cheese, tobaggans, the fair, etc :)

Oh, and I wore a sweater yesterday. What is up with that?! It was 82 degrees in Charleston today. I think this winter is gonna be a rough one for me. It will be the first kind of winter I've had in a couple years. Brr :(

Hey Sweetie, I feel ya, but am so sorry fall is half ruined for you because of winter coming. Just try to enjoy every minute until then. And then try to find SOMETHING you can like during...the luxury of heat, the sparkle of snow, the spectacle of snow falling...time to scrapbook...read about plants...I don't know, I've never been through it.

You'll have to help me with my knitting when you visit...I have issues with my sides.

Can you find out if there are any regulations on property care, or is it all "live free or die?" I don't understand it either...why not just rent? I guess because anything will sell up there immediately. Mom
