What a productive day we had! I feel like we got some pretty major things accomplished.
First, the baby's furniture has been ordered from Tiny Totland (props to us for using a locally owned small business!! And not a gigantic baby superstore). We went with Sorelle brand, and the crib is called "Vicki" and the dresser is called "Ideal" and we also got the matching hutch top for when the kid gets older and we no longer need the top of the dresser for the changing table. What a great set. The best part was that they have a low delivery fee which includes set up. How nice to have a guy come put it together for us who knows what he's doing. We won't need the furniture for another couple of months, so they're going to hold onto it for a while for us.
Also we bought our new mattress set. It is coming on MONDAY and we can hardly wait. We went to Mattress Discounters and got a great deal on a Simmons Beautyrest "Awakening" which was HALF OFF during a promotion they're having. We're sooooo looking forward to this. It's amazing how non-bouncy it is!
Then, lunch at Quizno's which is always fun. I tried the new Prime Rib on Garlic Bread and it was faaaaabulous. Tonight we have The Prestige to watch, can't wait! I don't really watch too many movies but I thought that one looked good.
What sweet furniture :) What color are you going to be painting the walls?
Congrats on the new mattress. Jon and I got a whole new set of bedroom furniture right after we got married, including an amazing new mattress. We had springs poking us in the old one too. It's like sleeping on a cloud! Sweet dreams :)

love the furniture! when we picked out alyssa's furniture before she was born we went with a dresser and hutch ... love it. she's got all her sports stuff on it right now ... but 10 years ago it was full of winnie-the-pooh stuff. lol!
also congrats on the new mattress! we got a new one a few months ago and love it. our old one was so old and just not comfy. i sleep so much better now!
